BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a Mandaree man wanted for a stabbing in Bismarck.
The victim was stabbed several times in the head last Saturday in a Main Street parking lot, according to police.
The 23-year-old suspect was involved in an altercation in a Bismarck, got into an SUV that tailgated another vehicle in the parking lot, sideswiped it and forced it into a shipping container, officials said.
The suspect got out of the SUV and stabbed the victim with one of the wounds puncturing his skull, according to police. A woman also got out of the SUV and struck another woman in the other vehicle, the Bismarck Tribune r eported.
Officers recovered a knife in the parking lot. Investigators said they identified the suspect through witness descriptions and from surveillance video in the bar.
The suspect is wanted for attempted murder, according to the warrant.
