CNN’s Chris Cuomo lashed out at President Trump and viewers Monday evening while thanking God that he no longer needs to “feign” concern for the former’s health.

The “Cuomo PrimeTime” blasted Mr. Trump for a “bulls–” decision to take off his mask at the White House after being discharged as a coronavirus from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center

“I love seeing him do that victory lap in that limo,” Mr. Cuomo said of the president’s decision to give throngs of well-wishers outside the hospital a wave over the weekend. “Thank God! You know why? I knew that meant he has to be OK. Not the people in there with him, PPE up to their — nose. Now they’ve got to quarantine. He doesn’t give a damn. And now, I do not have to feign any extra measure of compassion.”

The host then called Mr. Trump a “COVID-idiot” before letting out a mock gasp.

“‘You’re disrespecting the president!’ No, he disrespected the presidency! All that’s left is the residue of outrage. Because that’s the only emotion I have,” he said, NewsBusters reported. “They left their own people for dead. I know it. I’ve spoken to five of them. ‘Who?’ None of your damn business! It’s not the point! The only reason they want the information there is so they can destroy those people! And I’m done with letting them destroy people. Me, bring it.”

Mr. Trump urged Americans Monday to not let coronavirus “dominate your life” and to find a proper balance between taking it seriously while also attending to personal and professional responsibilities.
