DANVERS, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts police chief is recovering at home from injuries he received in an off-duty motorcycle crash over the holiday weekend, officials said.

Danvers police Chief Patrick Ambrose was on his motorcycle in Newbury on Saturday afternoon when a man driving a Honda CRV took a left turn in front of Ambrose, Newbury police told The Salem News.
