White House press secretary Jen Psaki made it clear on Monday that she’s got her eye on “conservative Twitter.”
The Biden administration spokeswoman took the time to indirectly address a social media montage of her telling reporters that she would “circle back,” which garnered over 2.3 million views.
“Last thing I want to do before we get to your questions, I often note that I’m going to circle back,” she said. “I hate to disappoint conservative Twitter, but I am going to circle back on a number of things as we often do directly. Hurricane Maria funds, which was a question that was asked last week. The president has made clear the status of them, I should say, that is a priority for his administration to release this funding. We are working to do so, so that is in process.”
The comment became a “trending news” hashtag on Twitter and comes days after Grabien Media founder Tom Elliott released a “supercut” of Ms. Psaki balking on questions and vowing to “circle back” at another time.
