Gina Carano finds herself once again fighting back against “Nazi” smears — this time by former U.S. Sen. Heidi Heitkamp.

Ms. Carano says the latest attempt to damage her reputation constitutes the “dehumanizing phase of cancel culture” she warned about prior to Lucasfilm firing her from Disney‘s “The Mandalorian” in February.

The latest incident, which follows Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek’s suggestion Ms. Carano lacks “values of decency,” happened on comedian Bill Maher’s HBO “Real Time” show.

“She’s a Nazi,” Ms. Heitkamp said as the host broached Ms. Carano‘s battle with cancel culture.

“She’s not a Nazi!” Mr. Maher incredulously responded.

The North Dakota Democrat wasn’t deterred.

“She’s a White — she’s involved with White supremacists,” Ms. Heitkamp insisted. She does hang with White supremacists.”

“She does?” Mr. Maher asked.

“Yeah,” Ms. Heitkamp answered. “I suppose I get subject to defamation.”

Ms. Carano — who is not a Nazi or a White supremacist — concurred.

“Here we have more of the dehumanizing phase of cancel culture,” the actress tweeted Monday. “Repeat lies over and over until the population takes them as ‘truth’. False, disturbing & disgusting language coming from a former US Senator. @HeidiHeitkamp, You knew as soon as you said it you were liable.”

Ms. Carno was fired from Lucasfilm shortly after likening the relentless politics of personal destruction to something seen in Nazi Germany prior to World War II.

“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors … even by children,” she warned her social media audience. “Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views.”
