BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota is reporting an additional 81 positive cases of COVID-19 in the state and one new death, according to health department figures updated Saturday.

Overall, a total of 100,357 people in North Dakota have been infected with COVID-19 and 1,449 people have died from the virus since the pandemic began.

As of Saturday 668 people in the state were considered to have active cases of the virus.



Twenty-one people were hospitalized in North Dakota due to COVID-19, including three who were in intensive care.

As of Thursday, 147,791 North Dakota residents had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 82,556 people had received the full two-dose series, according to state data.
