Tiger Woods is set to open another golf course designed by his company, TGR Design, next week in Sarasota, Florida, the group announced Wednesday.
The course is a joint venture with PopStroke Entertainment, “a technology-infused golf entertainment venue,” and will feature two 18-hole putting courses, according to the press release about Thursday’s opening.
“PopStroke is about bringing friends and families together to create lasting memories around the game of golf. We have created two 18-hole putting courses that can be enjoyed by all, regardless of age or skill level,” Woods said in the release. “We look forward to welcoming a new generation of players to our unique putting experiences at PopStroke Sarasota.”
The courses will be composed entirely of artificial turf but will feature undulations, fairways, bunkers and rough like traditional golf courses.
The Tiger Red Course will challenge skilled golfers, while the Tiger Black Course will be more beginner-friendly, the release said.
The 15-time major champion’s other design projects include courses in Houston; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; and Ridgedale, Missouri, according to TGR Design’s website.
Woods returned to action at the Masters Tournament earlier this month, just 14 months after suffering several leg fractures in a car accident in Los Angeles.
