We had been told that the big box stores would have “Revealing Revelation” by Amir Tsarfati on their bookshelves. Target had two; not by the time we got there. When we couldn’t find Mr. Tsarfati’s latest tome on a Walmart shelf, either, the manager promised he’d find out why there were no copies left.

Why all of the excitement about a book on a subject often relegated to religious-store shelves? Maybe it has something to do with Mr. Tsarfati, who at the age of 21 was the deputy governor of Jericho, writing a love letter to the most important book of the Bible: Revelation.

Oh, and did I mention that “Revealing Revelation” placed fifth on USA Today’s best-seller list, second on the Publisher’s Weekly list, and first on The Wall Street Journal’s — all in the same week?

Maybe it’s time to get right with God and enjoy a great read while we do so.
