OPINION:
It comes as no surprise that the acerbic-tongued, matronly women of “The View” would mock former first lady Melania Trump after the latter criticized Vogue (during an interview with Fox News host Pete Hegseth) for not featuring her on its cover during her time in the White House (“‘Never say never’: Melania Trump teases 2024 run, calls Vogue ‘biased’ after snub,” Web, May 15).
Not even dark glasses could have hidden the talk-show hosts green eyes of envy as they threw shade. Shame on those women, whose malicious behavior stems from jealousy of Mrs. Trump’s stunning good looks. And shame on Vogue for snubbing America’s most beautiful first lady, who would have added some much-needed class to the magazine.
