Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and hip-hop mogul Jay-Z were spotted at dinner together in Los Angeles on Monday amid rumors that the two billionaires could partner to bid for the Washington Commanders.

TMZ Sports captured photos of the men outside Horses restaurant, with the outlet adding the gathering lasted for more than two hours. People magazine reported last week that Bezos is interested in purchasing the Commanders from owner Dan Snyder, “possibly in partnership with Jay-Z.”

The Commanders announced last week that the Snyders have hired an investment bank to mull “potential transactions” involving the franchise, including a sale of the team. Forbes estimates the Commanders’ value is worth $5.6 billion, but multiple reports indicate the team could fetch as high as $7 billion.

Snyder purchased the team in 1999 for $800 million.

The New York Post reported Monday that Bezos’ bid with Jay-Z could also involve another celebrity: actor Matthew McConaughey, who grew up — and is — a diehard Washington fan. NBA star Kevin Durant told ESPN he would also be interested in joining their venture.
