OPINION:
President Biden couldn’t be further from the truth with his usual blame-anyone-but-myself-for-our-nation’s-descent-into-chaos-and-anarchy bit (“Biden says attack on Pelosi’s husband echoes Jan. 6, blames Republicans,” Web, Oct. 28). I’m surprised that he didn’t also blame the Russians for this most recent incident.
The fact is, it is precisely the “sanctuary city,” open borders, “let them eat cake” policies that the controlling Democratic Party established that caused this incident involving Paul Pelosi. Sadly, the chickens have come home to roost. When you go soft on crime and allow mentally deranged people to roam our streets untreated, criminality will only worsen and we will all suffer greatly.
I hope Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic colleagues take note here that their policies (which were designed to foment social change and “revolution” in our society) are hurting everyone, including those close to them. It’s time for Democratic “leaders” to do some serious soul-searching as we approach the beginning of regime change come Nov. 8. Americans know who is truly to blame.
