The Republican House majority has much to do. First, it must hold hearings on President Biden and the Democrats’ multiple failed policies, including the Afghanistan withdrawal, open borders, unnecessary and excessive spending, weaponization of the Justice Department, FBI and CIA, the taking of guns from law-abiding citizens and limitations on free speech.

Second, the GOP must focus on helping our citizens. This includes addressing the significant shortage of physicians, nurses and other health professionals able to render prompt and effective care for patients. It also includes securing the southern border, the porousness of which has become problematic from a food-supply standpoint, in addition to being a danger to all Americans.

Equally important is the need to restore domestic energy production. And the House Republicans should also end the tax on individuals’ Social Security income.
