OPINION:
When qualifications are ignored in selecting people for a specific job, the result is the embarrassing spectacle in which our nation now finds itself.
These days, all the diverse “boxes” may have been checked off for a particular position, but more and more no one in an office is able to do their actual job from top to bottom. Despite the many celebratory months and days we now have, these hollow “wins” mean little when danger levels soar in real life.
Fear of being exposed as the frauds they are made Pete Buttigieg reluctant to go to Ohio and Kamala Harris reluctant to visit the border. President Biden, meanwhile, hasn’t wanted to go anywhere for the same reason — except to Ukraine, where he must be picking up checks for Hunter’s future legal fees.
As the nation watches for balloons, the next pandemic, the supposed end of gasoline and oil, rising prices and the start of World War III, Democrats are mostly concerned with pronouns, aborting babies, drag queens and stealing the next election.
Will Mr. Biden run again? Not until he shows he can ascend steps without tripping over his own feet. (One must master walking before one considers running.) Completing a thought or a sentence, however, is no longer a Democratic requirement for the top spot.
Upon serious and honest reflection, and with an eye toward reality, one finds no compelling reason to vote for a Democrat ever again.
