Just days after a failed assassination attempt, Donald Trump officially received enough delegates to win the Republican nomination for president. Shortly after, he named Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his vice presidential pick, helping fuel the strong sense of unity in the air at the convention center in Milwaukee.
