Several days before the attempted assassination of former president Donald Trump, President Joe Biden reportedly told a group of fundraisers “…We’re done talking about the debate. It’s time to put Trump in the bullseye.” In 2018, Biden had said that he wished he could take Trump behind the gym and “beat the hell” out of him. But the violent rhetoric behind these and other comments made by Biden and other top Democrats have been largely ignored by the mainstream media’s coverage of the shooting. Washington Times’ Media Spotlight host Steve Malzberg shines the light on what has been said and what is not being covered. He also looks at the media’s attempt to marry Donald Trump to the Project 2025 paper put out by The Heritage Foundation and desperate attempts to protect Vice President Kamala Harris from criticism.
