Lawyers for rapper Ice Spice say they are considering filing criminal and civil charges against a woman who slapped the performer at a McDonald’s restaurant in Hollywood, multiple news outlets report.
The woman, identified only as Vayah, claimed she was a fan of the rapper and approached Ice Spice to compliment her. But she said the rapper was rude and argumentative and told her to leave.
A confrontation ensued and Vayah slapped her. Footage of the incident was captured by McDonald’s security cameras, TMZ reported.
Ice Spice’s lawyer describes the attack as unprovoked and reported it to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Ice Spice, who’s real name is Isis Naija Gaston, is known for hit songs such as “Deli” and “Barbie World” from 2023’s “Barbie” movie.
