YouTube children’s education star Rachel Griffin Accurso (aka Ms. Rachel) and her husband, Aron Accurso, announced the release of her debut album on Sept. 25, news outlets report.
The 23-track record made alongside her husband, who is known online as Mr. Aron, is titled “I’m So Happy.”
As a trained music educator, Ms. Rachel told The Associated Press that she is excited for children to hear real instruments such as a clarinet on the track “Icky Sticky Bubble Gum” as well as for the album to assist kids in boosting social skills.
“We’re always thinking about all kinds of kids, whether they have disabilities or whether they’re autistic,” she said. “We just want the world to feel like it’s helpful to all children and the musical worlds as well.”
Ms. Rachel has drawn attention in recent years for using her social media platforms to speak out on humanitarian issues affecting children, including in Gaza and among those detained by U.S. immigration authorities.
She and her husband launched her YouTube channel in 2019.
