OPINION:
With the recent disclosures about the extent of the carnal relationship between disgraced former Rep. Eric Swalwell, California Democrat, and “Fang Fang,” a 21st-century Mata Hari, it is now incumbent upon Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi to come clean (“From Fang Fang to Trump dossier, Eric Swalwell weighs in on sex trap spycraft,” Web, Aug. 19).
Mr. Swalwell was one of Mrs. Pelosi’s proteges and a member of her inner circle, especially within the Democratic House Caucus.
The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence should demand that Mrs. Pelosi reveal what she knew and when she knew it about the security breaches, which probably occurred during Mr. Swalwell’s tenure.
Mrs. Pelosi constituents deserve transparency from her, now.
