The Hollies, behind hits including “Bus Stop,” “The Air That I Breathe” and “Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress,” are no longer going on tour after over 60 years.

In a statement published on the band’s website and on social media Thursday, The Hollies explained that guitarist Tony Hicks, 80, decided to step away due to unspecified health concerns.

Drummer Bobby Elliott, 84, then decided to also hang it up “out of respect for Tony and everything they have shared throughout their remarkable journey together,” the band said.

Mr. Hicks and Mr. Elliott joined the British band in 1963, not long after it was initially formed. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of The Hollies, along with former members Allan Clarke, Bernie Calvert, Eric Haydock, Graham Nash and Terry Sylvester, according to Variety.

The band concluded the statement by saying that “after more than six decades, The Hollies’ touring career will come to a close with immense gratitude to the fans who have supported them around the world.”
