The move by the U.S. Treasury Department last week to issue sanctions against the Palestine Action organization is an important one that should be praised by all Americans concerned about the growing threat of terrorism.

Far too few American news outlets covering the terror group have bothered to explain what Palestine Action is and what crimes its fanatics have committed in the U.K.

On Sept. 8, 2025, then-U.K. security minister Dan Jarvis told the House of Commons: “It has conducted an escalating campaign involving intimidation and sustained criminal damage, including to Britain’s national security infrastructure. Some of its attacks have involved the use of weapons, resulting in alleged violence and serious injuries to individuals.”

During a now-notorious Palestine Action attack on police during a 2024 break in, one Palestine Action militant hit female police sergeant Kate Evans with a sledgehammer in the back, causing a severe spinal injury.

A second policeman, Aaron Buxton, was also hit with a sledgehammer.

All our elected officials must support Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s statement that “[p]olitical terrorism has no place in our society.”
