OPINION:
I was not an admirer of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican, or his close association with the president. But my God, have people no decency?
I was appalled to read, on the website of my local newspaper, reader comments about the senator’s passing. These included a strong sentiment of cheering and gloating over Graham’s sudden and untimely death.
At least one commenter even expressed the hope that another member of the GOP would soon follow Graham.
Is any of these hateful people an individual of faith? If so, what would their faith leaders say?
What has happened to us?
I hope that those who stomp on the grave of Lindsey Graham will receive the mercy that they did not provide to him.
