Actress Zendaya on Tuesday posted to Instagram a series of photos from the press tour for the upcoming theatrical release of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” including a rare public display of affection with her husband, Tom Holland, multiple news outlets report.
The final image in the post shows Mr. Holland kissing the top of Ms. Zendaya’s head as she smiles at the camera, a moment fans quickly celebrated online.
The post came shortly after Mr. Holland confirmed that the couple had secretly married, following widespread confusion sparked by AI-generated wedding photos that had fooled even some of his family members.
Mr. Holland posted his own photos from the press tour, including a black-and-white image of the pair holding hands and laughing on a Rome rooftop.
In the new Marvel superhero action film, the fourth in the franchise, Mr. Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Zendaya reprises hers as love interest M.J. Watson.
The couple first met on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” in 2016, confirmed their relationship publicly in 2021 and largely kept their romance out of the spotlight.
