Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is a star on and off the field.

The 2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year ranked fifth in merchandise sales last season, according to a report released by the NFL Players Association on Tuesday.

Daniels trailed only Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, New England Patriots signal-caller Drake Maye, Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and Seattle Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

The NFLPA’s annual top 50 ranking accounts for all merchandise sales associated with a player, including jerseys, shirts, backpacks, figurines, posters and collectibles.

“This isn’t just about jerseys. It’s about the products fans choose to buy, collect, wear, and display every day,” Matt Curtin, president of NFL Players Inc., said in a statement. “The rankings help show which players are breaking through, building strong connections with fans, and driving demand throughout the licensed products business.”

Daniels returned to the top five after finishing fourth in his rookie campaign, which featured a run to the NFC title game for the Commanders. He’s the first player to score top five finishes in his first two seasons since former Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, who debuted in 2016.

No other Commanders made the list this season after Washington finished with a disappointing 5-12 record.
