Even the king of the United Kingdom can’t avoid bad weather.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla were caught in a sudden downpour on Sunday during a celebration of Antigua and Barbuda’s 45th anniversary of independence.
The deluge began soon after the royal couple arrived at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium as part of their tour of the Caribbean.

Camilla, 79, was quickly handed an umbrella and left the field to seek shelter. Meanwhile, Charles, 77, was left getting soaked by the rain, People magazine reported.
“When the British monarch noticed his wife walking off with an umbrella, he grew visibly exasperated and threw his hands in the air,” according to People. “He then began waving to aides and asking repeatedly for an umbrella before returning to the dais.”
An umbrella was eventually brought to the monarch, who held it aloft while inspecting the troops.
The king apparently took it all in stride. He and Camilla later chuckled after taking a seat in the viewing area.
“I’ve started growing watercress on my trousers,” he said, according to the Evening Standard.
