Updated Nov. 4, 2026. This list is updated as retailers announce Black Friday sale dates and deals.

Black Friday 2026 falls on Nov. 27, but the nation’s biggest retailers are not waiting for the day after Thanksgiving to start their Black Friday sales. BJ’s Wholesale Club, Lowe’s and Best Buy have already launched early Black Friday deals, and Target, Home Depot, JCPenney, Kohl’s and Walmart launch major sale events by Nov. 12.

The result is a holiday shopping season stretched into weeks of staggered sales, membership-only early access and online-only Cyber Monday events, which this year falls on Nov. 30. Walmart’s three Black Friday and Cyber Monday events total 14 days, up from 10 last year, according to Retail Dive. Amazon and Macy’s have yet to release Black Friday schedules. Below is a running list of what major retailers have announced, organized by category.

Shoppers can also try Ask Target, an AI shopping assistant now in beta on Target.com and the Target app. The announcement did not lay out a full Black Friday schedule.
