A tanker ship was hit by two unknown projectiles off the coast of Qatar on Thursday, according to British maritime authorities, as Iran continues to warn ships about the dangers of navigating the Strait of Hormuz.

Britain’s Maritime Trade Operations Center reported that the apparent attack took place just 50 nautical miles north of Madinat ash Shamal, Qatar’s northernmost city.

It’s unclear where the ship hailed from or what it was carrying.
