OPINION:
Senate Majority Leader John Thune, South Dakota Republican, is the No. 1 reason we lost the midterms.
Mr. Thune failed to pass the Save America Act and he spent zero dollars to promote it. Meanwhile, he wasted $100 million in Texas trying to re-elect RINO Sen. John Cornyn of Texas. He did not allow President Trump to make recess appointments and he completely ignored all the House bills that landed on his desk.
Mr. Thune did not even have the courage to fire the radical Senate parliamentarian. The only thing that seems to have been on his mind was vacation.

We cannot call Mr. Thune a failure because that would imply that he ever tried to “Make America Great Again.” The record shows that he did nothing. Mr. Thune is a traitor to the Republican Party. He has given aid and comfort to the Democrats.
The Republican Senate has a golden opportunity to pass very important House bills now sitting idle on Mr. Thune’s desk. It can approve all of Mr. Trump’s nominees and fund everything that is vital to our national security and the general welfare of the United States. However, the window of opportunity will close for good on Dec. 31.
What the Republican Congress does in the next two months will decide the fate not only of the Republican Party, but also of our country.
All talk and no action will not cut it. Republicans must stop worrying about the mule going blind and just load the wagon.
