WNBA stars Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd, who play together on the Dallas Wings, have confirmed that they are no longer a couple.

Speaking on the “Fudd Around and Find Out” podcast Friday, the women confirmed that they are not dating.

“It’s been, like, over a year,” said Bueckers, 25.

The duo also discussed Fudd, 23, being drafted in the first round by Dallas this year and that their dating had nothing to do with the team’s decision.

“We were not together before she got drafted,” Bueckers said. “So all of those narratives can go to bed.”

“She was not drafted because she was my girlfriend,” she added. “She was drafted because she deserved it. She’s an amazing human, amazing basketball player. And we’re still friends. We’re still cool.”

Fudd, a Washington-area native, and Bueckers were teammates at the University of Connecticut, winning an NCAA championship in 2025. Shortly after the victory, Bueckers confirmed her relationship with Fudd.

“At the end of the day, like, we still care about each other. We want the best for each other,” Bueckers said on the podcast.
