President Trump said he plans to hold a rally in Kansas “very soon” to campaign for Republican Sen. Roger Marshall’s reelection.
The Monday announcement comes as Mr. Trump is increasing his political appearances in states he won in 2024 to boost Republican candidates in Senate and House races.
Mr. Trump is campaigning in Ohio on Monday for Sen. Jon Husted and in Alaska on Tuesday for Sen. Dan Sullivan. He will also hold a rally Friday in Georgia, where Republican Rep. Mike Rogers is running against Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff.

It was not immediately clear when the Kansas rally would happen but Mr. Trump’s lengthy social media announcement made it clear he is worried about the Senate race.
“Roger is running against a Radical Left Dumocrat named Adam Hamilton, a Trump Deranged Phony who pretends to be a ’Moderate,’ but he’s not! He gave money to Kamala Harris, Crooked Joe Biden, and Barack Hussein Obuma — What else needs to be said?” Mr. Trump said.
The president cited his support among evangelical Christians as he attacked Mr. Hamilton, a Methodist pastor, saying, “Adam Hamilton is not one of us!”
“He is a Radical Left LUNATIC Dumocrat, whose values are not those of the People of Kansas, or the United States of America, and now he’s trying to take out one of the best and most respected Senators in our Country,” Mr. Trump said.
The president said Mr. Hamilton promotes “crazy ideas” such as telling Kansans they need to repent for eating beef.
He said he would not want Mr. Hamilton to serve as his pastor and accused him of hiring a child predator as a church camp counselor and allowing him to return even after abuse allegations were raised.
“He’s caused nothing but turmoil in his church, which has broken up, and is virtually at war with each other because of him,” Mr. Trump said.
Hamilton campaign spokesperson Tyson Brody said the president’s comments are just another sign that “Washington is panicking over desperate, failing politician Roger Marshall.”
“They’re sending in millions to try to distract from Marshall’s record of supporting the war in Iran, gutting healthcare, and raising prices on everything from gas to groceries,” he said. “Marshall is turning to these desperate lies and false attacks because Kansans have learned Roger Marshall had pregnant mothers arrested and jailed over small medical debts, and voted to block the release of the Epstein files.”
Mr. Trump also used his social media post to praise Mr. Marshall as one of his favorite senators.
“He is absolutely GREAT, a wonderful person, given a ’bum rap’ because he was mandated by Law to request money owed from patients,” he said. “If he didn’t make these requests, he would be breaking the Law, and subject to criminal liability and arrest.”
Mr. Trump was referring to a New York Times report analyzing Kansas court records that found Mr. Marshall filed lawsuits against more than 700 patients with outstanding bills during his decades-long career as an obstetrician-gynecologist.
In 81 of those cases, patients were arrested for missing court dates and Mr. Marshall’s lawyers sought warrants in another 13 where it was unclear whether an arrest occurred.
“A judge ordering a patient’s arrest for not showing up to court many, many times is not Roger Marshall’s fault — it is the law, and his Crooked Opponent is using that against him,” Mr. Trump said.
