A jury determined that free agent wide receiver Tyreek Hill is liable for two counts of battery against his estranged wife, Lakeeta Vacarro. The jury in Tuesday’s civil trial awarded her $500,000 in compensation.
The verdict was mixed. Jurors determined that Hill was not liable for eight other counts of assault and battery that Ms. Vacarro claimed.
Ms. Vacarro’s lawyers initially sought $8 million in damages, according to multiple reports.
