If the GOP and President Trump want to keep control of Congress and avoid the national calamity that would be a Democratic sweep, then the Republican National Committee, Trump PACs and Republican campaign committees must immediately produce and run incisive Republicans-vs.-Democrats campaign ads.

The message from Mr. Trump’s barnstorming tour across the country is not reaching enough people because of mainstream media’s censorship. The Democrats’ successful manipulation of public opinion via the establishment press must be countered.

Such an ad, with graphics, should first compare the records of Presidents Biden and Trump. Look at inflation, gas prices, immigration. Then point out some of the key achievements of Mr. Trump and the Republican Congress.

Next, mention proposals that Mr. Trump and a Republican Congress want to pursue in the next two years to build on these successes. Point out what will happen if the Democrats take control: endless impeachment attempts, higher fuel prices, defeat in a critically important war, weakened American military strength and paralysis of the government.

Close with something like, “You can vote either for continued progress or chaos. For America’s future and yours, vote Republican this November.”

Such an ad should already have been running for weeks if not months. But there is still time to air it and perhaps save the republic.
