“You Can See Everything,” the documentary from filmmakers Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim that follows Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes before she went to prison, is being submitted by studio A24 for Oscar categories that are atypical for documentaries.

According to a Monday report from Variety, the film is being submitted for Best Picture, director, cinematography and costume design, among other categories. In addition, it will be submitted for the more traditional Best Documentary award.

No documentary has ever been nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, which will be awarded at the 99th Academy Awards ceremony in March.

Perhaps most surprising is a submission for Best Supporting Actress for Amanda Seyfried, who appears in the movie playing herself and a version of Holmes.

Mr. Fielder is also eligible to submit himself as a performer, but Variety reports that he won’t be doing so.

The film collected $15 million during its opening weekend, a substantial gross for a documentary that cost $7 million to make. The movie was surprise-revealed during the Telluride Film Festival in September.
