President Trump on Monday said that anyone who identifies voter fraud will be awarded $1 million.
The president did not provide extensive details about the purported reward.
“Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud!” he wrote on Truth Social.

Mr. Trump often warns that voter fraud is rampant in the U.S. and blames fraud for costing him his 2020 re-election bid.
Courts dismissed every challenge he and his allies brought in that election, often on procedural grounds.
Charges and convictions for illegal voting have spiked considerably during Mr. Trump’s presidential term amid a Justice Department crackdown. The amount of fraud, however, is not enough to change the outcomes of elections.
As it usually does, the Justice Department this year will have poll monitors at polling sites across the U.S.
Harmeet Dhillon, who leads the department’s Civil Rights Division, recently told Bloomberg the department intends to send approximately 1,000 polling monitors nationwide on Election Day.
“It is no different than in Democratic administrations,” she said, adding the DOJ would monitor for potential voter fraud and violations of federal law.
President Biden’s administration deployed 388 monitors to polling places in the 2022 midterms, according to a PBS report.
Mr. Trump’s announcement comes after the DOJ established a rewards program offering a more modest award of up to $30,000 for tipsters who provide “information leading to criminal charges” in government fraud cases.
