The Metropolitan Police Department is looking for three “persons of interest” in burglaries of a church building in the 1700 block of Eleventh Street NW on back-to-back nights.
Images and surveillance video uploaded online by the police on Wednesday show what appear to be two men and a woman, though it did not identify anyone by name. The photos show at least part of all three faces.
In the first incident on Sept. 30, the three people forced their way into the church building at around 10:15 p.m., the police said Wednesday.

The next night at around 6:40 p.m. the three once again broke into the building and took cameras, microphones and musical instruments before fleeing the scene, the police said.
The police did not specify the name of the church, though the address is the location of the historic Lincoln Temple United Church of Christ.
The congregation in the District’s Shaw neighborhood dissolved in 2018 and the building is now used on a rental basis by a variety of nonprofit community groups.
Anyone with information on the three people or on the incidents are asked to either call (202) 727-9099 or to text 50411.
The police offer a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of people responsible for crimes in the District of Columbia.
