Rapper Nicki Minaj has excoriated New York Gov. Kathy Hochul ahead of the state’s gubernatorial election on Tuesday.
In an X post Tuesday, Ms. Minaj aired grievances against the governor and encouraged voters to support Bruce Blakeman, the Republican candidate running against Ms. Hochul.
“Kathy Hochul is an evil woman,” the rapper wrote. “The Democratic Party should forfeit her seat because even if she wins, she will be of great consequence to them. Downward spiral for her. She will not escape God’s wrath. She did not denounce evil when she had the chance.”
