Irish actor Barry Keoghan revealed he’s undergoing skin procedures six months after he said online abuse over his looks made him avoid public places.

The treatment, known as XERF skin tightening, is a noninvasive, needle-free procedure that uses radio frequency to lift and tighten skin.

In an Oct. 23 video posted by Dermaspa owner Nilam Holmes, Mr. Keoghan said, “I feel better about myself,” adding, “I look better.”

Footage shows him lying on a table as Ms. Holmes uses a device to treat the skin of his cheeks, nose and jawline.

Ms. Holmes said the filmed session was his second XERF treatment and that she has been “working with Barry for a while now.”

According to Dermaspa’s website, XERF tightens skin without injections or topical numbing, with pricing starting at around $5,300 for two rounds.

Mr. Keoghan said on SiriusXM’s “The Morning Mash Up” in March, “There’s a lot of abuse of how I look” and that it made him “shy away.”

Mr. Keoghan is filming “The Batman: Part II” and Sam Mendes’ four Beatles biopics, in which he will portray Ringo Starr.
