“Stranger Things” actress Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, recently adopted a baby boy, a year after adopting their first child.
Ms. Brown, 22, and Mr. Bongiovi, 24, son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, announced the news in a joint Instagram post Thursday showing an image of baby hands holding onto theirs and a caption that said: “hi little guy!” A “mom” ring was also visible on one of Ms. Brown’s fingers.
Ms. Brown, who was 21 when she adopted her first child, a “sweet baby girl,” has spoken publicly about her adoption journey, according to multiple news outlets.
She told the “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce” podcast in June that adopting was “always part of my childhood dreams,” an aspiration that grew even stronger after she took classes on the adoption process.
In the podcast, Ms. Brown said adoption is “love” and “forever” and described the hardest part as “waiting for the call.”
She has said motherhood is “like going from black and white to color” and that she takes the responsibility of raising a confident daughter seriously, given her own experience of a public childhood.
Ms. Brown, who also stars in the Netflix movie “Enola Holmes,” married Mr. Bongiovi, an actor and model, in 2024.
