Frank Gaffney’s column headlined “Truly inappropriate behavior” which appeared in the Commentary pages Tuesday included this quote erroneously attributed to Abraham Lincoln: “Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged.” President Lincoln made no such statement.
