ELLISVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Authorities in Jones County say a Hattiesburg woman was arrested Monday after a high-speed chase.

Officers tell WDAM-TV (https://bit.ly/1kHNeCk ) that Angela Windham, whose age was not available, was arrested after the chase, which began in Ellisville at about 7:30 a.m.

Ellisville police say they spotted Windham driving a truck that was reported stolen. The Jones County Sheriff’s Department, Covington County Sheriff’s Department and Mississippi Highway Patrol joined the chase. Investigators say Windham stopped the vehicle near Sand Hill Loop Road after two tires on the truck blew out.



Investigators say she faces multiple charges, including felony fleeing in a motor vehicle, driving on a suspended license, aggravated assault on an officer with a weapon and driving under the influence.

It was not immediately clear whether Windham has an attorney.
