CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A Casper man has pleaded guilty to using three of his children to illegally obtain prescription medication for himself.

Anthony Silveira was sentenced in District Court to three years in jail, with all but 60 days suspended, followed by three years of probation, after he pleaded guilty to six misdemeanor counts of prescription fraud and three misdemeanor counts of child endangerment.

KTWO radio in Casper reports (https://bit.ly/2eZTXrH ) that Silveira’s wife called law enforcement in December 2015 about prescriptions that had been filled in her children’s names that she was unaware of.

Investigators said that from February through November of 2015, Silveira would excuse his children from school at different times for doctor’s appointments and instructed the children to act like they were injured.
