WILSON, N.C. (AP) - A 30-year-old Wilson man has been charged in the death of his 4-month-old son.
Police tell local media outlets Brian Christopher Buchanan was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree murder and felony child abuse in the death of his son.
On the morning of February 6, authorities say they responded to a call about an unresponsive infant.
Rylan Buchanan was taken to a hospital, where he died two days later. Authorities ruled his death a homicide after an autopsy was performed.
Buchanan was jailed without bond, and it wasn’t immediately known if he had an attorney. He was expected to appear in court Monday.
