SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - A group of teens has been charged with breaking into a South Shreveport school and stealing 24 iPads.

It happened this week at Broadmoor Middle School.

KSLA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/RfNZWu ) police were called to the school on Monday to look into a burglary.



Surveillance video helped them nab three teens.

The school lost nearly $15,000 in electronics. Three of the stolen iPads have been recovered.

Shreveport Police Property Crimes investigators said Thursday they’re offering amnesty for those who surrender the stolen merchandise.
