Dorel Industries Inc. is a Canadian company, based in Montreal, Quebec, which designs and manufactures for three areas: juvenile products, bicycles and other recreational products, home furnishings. It was formed in 1987 as a result of a merger between Dorel Co. Ltd., founded in 1962 by Leo Schwartz and Ridgewood Industries, founded in 1969.
