Tucson homicide victim identified

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police have identified a man who was found badly beaten and died on a sidewalk on Monday.

Police say the homicide victim is 50-year-old Gregory Ruby.

Police responded to a call around 2:45 p.m. on Monday and found Ruby with blunt force trauma. He died on scene despite efforts from several people who performed CPR and rendered aid.

Detectives are trying to figure out what happened to him and are asking for the public’s help.
