FERNDALE, Mich. (AP) - Police say a suburban Detroit woman upset over her rising water bills threatened her 15-year-old grandson whom she believed spent too much time in the shower.
MLive reports (https://bit.ly/2h2falS ) Jaclynn Wedlow of Ferndale was arraigned Tuesday on charges of felonious assault and domestic violence. The 66-year-old woman was released on a personal recognizance bond and forbidden from interacting with her grandson, possessing a weapon or returning to her home without police escort.
Ferndale Police Sgt. Baron Brown says Wedlow became upset over her rising water bill and the length of the grandson’s showers and pointed a gun at the boy Sunday.
The teen told police his grandmother threatened to blow his head off.
Wedlow doesn’t have a published home telephone number and she could not be reached for comment.
