"That's the second one we ended this year. Boston College, we had a 14-game losing streak too," Providence coach Jim Crowley said. "These kids want to play for each other and what value that has. When you defend you have a chance and the kids are starting to see that."
"It was the big reason I took the job," Crowley said. "I grew up in upstate New York. There was nothing like Big East basketball. It was something that made me want to be a college basketball coach. To walk in here and be at The Garden is humbling."
