CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - A 33-year-old West Virginia man has been convicted of selling methamphetamines and illegal gun possession.
Federal authorities say Joseph Nathaniel Hartman, of Petersburg, pleaded guilty to both crimes that occurred in Grant County in August 2015.
Investigators say he sold four baggies to an informant for $300.
According to court records, he was arrested in April. He was prohibited by a 2011 endangerment conviction from having a gun.
He could face up to 20 years in prison on the drug charge and 10 years on the gun charge at sentencing.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the State Police and the Grant County deputies, investigated.
