CENTER CITY, Minn. (AP) - Two people have been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing at a residence in Chisago County.
Sheriff’s officials said dispatchers got a call about 2:20 a.m. Friday about a stabbing in Sunrise Township east of North Branch.
Deputies and North Branch police officers arrived to find 28-year-old Joshua Kaczrowski suffering from multiple stab sounds. An ambulance took him to a nearby open area to meet a medical helicopter, but sheriff’s officials said he died before he could be transported to a hospital.
Chisago County Deputies spent the next several hours talking to witnesses and known associates and they identified a suspect. A man and a woman who were known to Kaczrowski were taken into custody Friday morning.
