LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Kentucky woman ordered to self-quarantine after testing positive for the coronavirus was arrested as she left a Louisville grocery store, according to police records.
Kendra A. Burnett, 37, was arrested Monday after her mother told a police officer she was violating a court order to self-quarantine, according to an arrest citation, the Courier Journal reported.
The officer contacted the county attorney, who said Burnett had refused to self-quarantine about three times, the citation said.
After being arrested, she kicked out a taillight on a police vehicle, according to the arrest citation.
She was charged with five counts of wanton endangerment and one count each of contempt of court and criminal mischief.
A manager at the Kroger told police that surveillance video showed Burnett had contact with about five people while inside the store.
Burnett did not have an attorney immediately listed in online court records who could comment on her behalf.
