TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A Trenton man who was arrested last year after police say his 5-year-old son brought heroin to school is now facing more drug charges.

The Trentonian (https://bit.ly/2mjQqbc ) reports that 29-year-old Maurice Leonard Jr. is accused of selling heroin out of his parked car last week in Trenton.

Authorities say they seized nearly 80 decks of heroin and the car. Leonard faces multiple drug possession and distribution charges.

Leonard was arrested in September and charged with child endangerment after authorities say his son brought 30 decks of heroin to school in a lunch box. A teacher allegedly found crack cocaine inside the boy’s folder the following month.

The boy has been placed into foster care pending an ongoing custody battle.

It wasn’t known Monday if Leonard has retained an attorney.
